TRUCKS’ SALES HAD INCREASED THIS FIRST TRIMESTER

Statistics were given by the Car Market report made by the National Automobile Association of Chile (ANAC) From January to March, trucks’ sales had increased a 2.9% in comparison with the first trimester of last year. During January and March, 15,562 trucks were sold vs the 15,125 sold trucks in last year trimestre. According to the Car Market report made by the ANAC, the Metropolitan Region leads the trucks’ sales with 9,986 units; 17.15% more from last year. The second place is for Valparaiso, then Biobío and Los Lagos Region. The leader truck brand is Mitsubishi, with 2,950 units sold; 19% more from last year, followed by Toyota with 1,944 units, increasing 12%. EXPOEDIFICA The car industry is truly relevant and for the first time EXPOEDIFICA 2019 will provide an exhibition and demonstration area with focus on trucks. On this context, ANAC’s general secretary, Gustavo Castellanos, said “for ANAC, trucks are very important because are present from north to south and within all productive sectors. Within all productive areas, the main vehicle are trucks” On this opportunity, the general secretary took the chance to call brands to participate in EXPOEDIFICA, the main event in Chile for the construction sector. “The main benefit is that brands are going to network with their clients, to know the last trends, and also have the opportunity to business.
