Among the novelties are digital solutions, starting with the AGILE Mirror, a new concept that connects the elevator with the passengers. As one of the main players in the elevator market, TK Elevator bets on digital solutions to promote an innovative experience to passengers using its equipment. The concept brings inside the elevator what already exists on the outside: a connected and digital world that creates new forms of interaction between people. The goal is to make the elevator ride a moment of interactivity and connection that is truly integrated with what is happening in the world. In this sense, the technological innovations applied to mobility range from calling the elevator via cell phone to an operating panel configurable and customizable by the condominium. AGILE Mirror, a launch that the company is highlighting at Edifica, adds the new concept to the product by connecting the elevator with the passengers. The technology allows several functions to be at the passenger’s fingertips, from a robust 4K touch-sensitive screen with touch film. In addition to choosing the floor on the virtual panel it is possible to read an RSS news feed, check the weather forecast, temperature, traffic conditions, read a condominium communiqué and be inside a full media space. TK Elevator’s portfolio includes different mobility solutions, from elevators, escalators and boarding bridges, in addition to a specific line of accessibility. These are solutions developed to make environments accessible, guaranteeing freedom and independence to people with temporary or permanent mobility restrictions, such as the elderly and people with disabilities. The line includes elevators for homes and platforms together with stairlifts for residential use. About TK Elevator With customers in more than 100 countries served by 50,000 employees, TK Elevator achieved sales of around €8 billion in fiscal 2019/2020. More than 1,000 locations worldwide offer an extensive network that ensures proximity to customers. Over the past decades, TK Elevator has established itself as one of the world’s leading elevator companies and has become independent since its sale by thyssenkrupp AG in August 2020. The company’s most important line of business is the service business represented by more than 24,000 service technicians. . The product portfolio ranges from elevators for residential and commercial buildings to highly customized state-of-the-art solutions. In addition, it also consists of escalators and moving walks, passenger boarding bridges, stairways and platform lifts. Integrated solutions for cloud-based services, such as the MAX platform, are gaining in importance. With these digital offerings, there are no more limits to urban mobility.
